Artist Statement
Creation and manipulation of images is how I express what I came in knowing, which has no words. The Greek meaning of ‘image’ is a moment’s intuition into reality. I seek to make more accessible a reality that eludes us in our day to day life through the creative use of familiar images and objects. I delight in diversity and the infinite complexity of our quantum, holographic, love-based universe.
In 1991 I had a deep revelation that I must create art. Since then I have spent any available time weaving, knitting, papermaking, book making, beading, painting, drawing, monoprinting and most of all creating collages. Art had been my avocation until my recent retirement from a 40+ year career in information technology. I am now a full-time professional artist and I love it!
